In brief

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics tools and embeds no external services. Fonts and all other files are loaded from the same address as the website itself. We only process personal data where this is technically necessary to run the website or where you contact us of your own accord.

Hosting and delivery

The website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the previously visited page (referrer) and details of your browser and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and fend off attacks. We do not analyse this access data ourselves or combine it with other data.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable delivery of the website. We have a data processing agreement with Cloudflare under Art. 28 GDPR. Data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). Access data is stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes.

Contact by email

If you send us an email, we process your details (for example name, email address, company and the content of your message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps such as a pilot call, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the data once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Downloading the one-pager

No further data is collected when you download the one-pager as a PDF. Only the technical access data described above is processed.

Links to other websites

This website links to sources from other providers. Data is only transferred to these providers when you click such a link. The respective provider is responsible for any processing on their side.

Encryption

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Your rights

You have the right to access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to it on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal email to kontakt@rivettrail.de is sufficient.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
